Its Daisy is where its livin' in

For now anyway. This glassy-winged sharpshooter (Homalodisca vitripennis) nymph is feeding on the daisy ray flower. This species is more commonly found on woody perennials or shrubs, famously grapes and oleanders to which it can spread devastating bacterial disease. Still, these little guys are very cute in an ugly sort of way.
