Leaves and small Lynxes

This is a sample of young green lynx spiders (Peucetia viridans) from the back garden, where their ancestral home the Abutilon palmerii met its demise last winter. They have spread out and taken up residence in a variety of spots, seeming to favor hirsute, scabrous, tomentose or even hispid leafed or stemmed plants over those that are merely glabrous.
