One of the southern alligator lizards has died in the rusty chain bucket, its body and tail looped around a joiner link in the chain. Did it die of natural causes not affected by the rust? Did it get stuck in the bucket while its co-bucketeers were able to climb out? Did the rust have something to do with its demise? I do know that I'll have an interesting skeleton to collect at the end of summer.
